The College 40 features a new Caribee X-Tend adjustable harness system that was developed as a direct result of studies that showed 68% of students using a handheld bag and 53% carrying a backpack incorrectly experienced serious back pain. These studies and the chiropractic organisations estimate that a large percentage of the adult population will soon experience back pain and spinal disorders as a direct result from childhood bag carrying. This unique Caribee harness features fully adjustable shoulder straps ensuring each pack fits the user correctly and can provides maximum ergonomic support. This is combined with a contoured internal aluminium frame and an adjustable hip belt (with utility pockets) with lumbar support and a sternum strap to ensure the bags weight is distributed evenly and efficiently. The shoulder straps can also be readjusted if you have a child using a bag as they grow, ensuring that this product will see them through many years of school/college/university.
The main compartment of the College 40 is A4 compatible and has separate padded laptop and tablet sleeves that fit most devices up to 15.4”. The second compartment features a full internal organiser for stationery, mobile phone etc. On the front of the bag is an accessory zip pocket and reflective details, whilst the side has QR compression and 2 bottle/accessory pockets.
